And being affected and inspired by their rich surroundings, environment as well as their heritage weather tangible or intangible on another hand.
Wojoud ‘Existence’: a kinetic dialog, or perhaps a coded corporeal massages, aims to demonstrate a first-hand experience for the two arab individuals performing artists. Via showing the possibilities, the accessibilities, enrichments that performing arts has added to their cultural and social capitals ‘existence’ in comparisons with the very recent crisis, conflicts and challenges has been invade the country recently as well as its surroundings.
Hodoud ‘Borders’: through the language of movement, a scene aims to show the experiences and the personal stories as well as the simulation these Arab artists gain through the direct interaction and involvements with different cultures and different opinions, cross seas. Wojoud Wa Hodoud; a two different words with different meanings works as a ‘representative’ kinetic realization describes two different stages in relation to different geographical spaces and time. It deals mainly towards the investigation of the embodied past, observing the acquired habits from the childhoods until the individual growth. Also, it examine and observe these individual dispositions, habitus, ways of thinking, as well as these individuals’ interactions and accessibility to the multi-dimensional societies. Through presenting the fruit of this creation in a kinetic contemporary approach.
In addition, to investigate the concepts and the interactive ‘Hybrid’ movement approaches as a result of the global cultural interaction and other unclear movement conceptions. Therefore, the work concerns and try to identify and examine through series of experiments and analysis, what might be called the ‘Authentic movement’ in a cultural context. What is it? And how is it generated? What is Authentic anyway? And on the other hand what is adapted and what is considered as a hybrid movement? In world with globalization.
